Circum Grand Orchestra is an outstanding group on several accounts. These 12 musicians from the Circum collective form a double rhythm section–2 guitarists, 2 bassists, 2 drummers and one pianist–supporting a strong, vigorous 5 horn section. _ The band delivers rich and varying compositions, from the most experimental jazz to the most powerful rock. The result is a dense and powerful music, always ready to play with itself and free itself from stylistic constraints.
In 2013, Circum Grand Orchestra is back with a new project.
After two albums under the conduction of Olivier Benoit in 2005 and 2009, the orchestra offers a new repertoire composed by bass player Christophe Hache. The creation took place in La rose des vents, Scène nationale de Lille Métropole in Villeneuve d’Ascq, on 30th April 2013.
